About Britt

I reluctantly fell in love with Pilates and now we're inseperable. <3 In the Fall of 2015, I recieved my certification of completion in mat Pilates from Pilates Chicago.  It was a challenging but great experience and now I am qualified to teach group and one on one session of classical Pilates.  You know, the way the creator of Pilates, Joseph Pilates, intended.  All that's needed is a mat and as Mr. Pilates would say "supreme concentration".  No shoes because this isn't cardio but a strenghtening, toning and flexibilty centered workout that strives to restore your body's primal movements.  Like sitting up and standing straight, walking and running without pain, and strengthening your core.  Though I have to admit that I really like the perks of not just feeling better but looking better, too.
